  • Eyes – blue, brown, gold, gray, green, hazel, purple
  • Skin – pale to very light brown
  • Affinity – hypnotism; mind control; mind reading; non-elemental magic
  • Alternate Forms – None
  • Fenir – unknown

 

As the tenth aspect created by God, Sathrana are the farthest from the light. The balance of light and dark within them leans towards the dark. Because of this, sathrana have the hardest time adjusting to their powers. They are the most tempted by them, and must cleanse themselves more often than any other aspect, except garshikna.

Kronen: Standalone Two – Waiting

Hidga Mountains

South of Iseyba

 

Kronen could sense the hungry beasts in the shifting darkness. Their orb-like forms, glowing at the periphery of his vision, were rarely there if he glanced in their direction.

They hungered for the energy shima travelers naturally emitted, especially those who favored darker magic. They stalked their prey from the shadows. Waiting for the foolish or the unwary to step off the path.

He had walked these shadowy trails many times before, however, and understood their dangers well. He knew the faint hums he heard on occasion, like someone quietly singing, were meant to lure him deeper into the trees. He recognized the soft lights he saw out of the corner of his eye from time to time, blending in with the shimmering colors around him, as inviting distractions meant to make him lose focus. Dedications

Ghost Girl 01  Hello all! Just wanted to give a quick update, and to preface the next chapter I’m posting later this evening.

I’ve written a few chapters now that have been dedicated to people who have passed away. They’re always the hardest to write, and take the longest for me, and I generally shut myself away for a long while when I do them. Even though the characters aren’t always an exact representation of them specifically, I always want the stories to reflect something about them. Something they loved, or maybe a little bit of their personality somewhere.

Aspect 9: Jahuni (Dragon)

Characteristics:

  • Hair – black, blond, brown, red
  • Eyes – blue, brown, gold, gray, green, hazel, purple
  • Skin – light tan to dark brown
  • Affinity – non-elemental magic; either light, nature, or one type of elemental magic; can turn themselves to stone
  • Alternate Forms –
  1. Half shima, half dragon form: scales over parts of the extremities and torso, horns, small fangs, shorter claw-like nails, leathery wings, and a change in skin color
  2. Full dragon form: huge body, full-body scales, horns, sharp teeth, claws, tail, leathery wings, spikes down the spine to the tail
  3. ** The color of skin and scales in both forms differs between jahunina. **
  • Fenir – Bejarn

Jahunina were the ninth aspect created by God. Their balance of light and dark leans more towards the dark. They are more tempted by their powers, and have to cleanse themselves more often.
