GalaxyCon 2023

Hello all! Time for some updates (finally, lol) and some really awesome pictures of several of the amazing people I met at GalaxyCon Columbus!

First, thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello at GalaxyCon! I got to meet so many awesome people! ❤

There were so many talented people at this event! These are some of the badass writers and artists I met ~

I learned a lot from everyone I met. They were so kind to share their experiences and knowledge with me, which is really appreciated because I’m still chaos, and I pretty much have no idea what I’m doing, lol. For example: valuable lesson I learned #1 ~ put something behind my table at cons, because otherwise…

*BOOM!* CHAOS behind my table, lol.

Lol, I had a blast though! I liked how my table setup turned out, but I have plans to make it more fun for next year. And I promised the husband that next time I won’t wait until a week before the event to ask him to do something like, say, design me a whole banner, lol.

Check out these epic cosplayers I got to meet too! They were all amazing!

I’m telling you, I would buy that bottom right cosplay in a heartbeat! You can’t see it well, but there’s little stars all over the back of the lace umbrella too. So freaking cool! It makes my Studio Ghibli-loving heart happy. ❤

Now to some updates! Woo-hoo! Book 3 is still on the way!

Life just conspires sometimes to throw the unexpected at you. Which is always a fun game, lol. But I will not be derailed…just maybe detoured…yeah. I’m taking the scenic route to release day, lol.

My fantastic and amazing editor, Debra, and her team at The Pro Book Editor have already started making Book 3 much better than it started out. Debra and her team always catch so much that I’m completely blind to after re-reading myself for days and weeks.

So here’s the new timeline (taking life stuff into account) ~

Book 3: Legacy ~ to be released in a couple months. I’m about to enter the final stretch! ❤

Book 4: The Lost Soul (tentative title) ~ late 2024/early 2025

I’ve got everything up to the last book in the Dual Realms series, Book 7, mapped out. Lol, I’m having a seriously hard time not jumping around, especially to that last book because that couple is one of my favorites.

I’m about to start signing up for 2024 events too, so I hope I’ll see you at one of them!

Now, I must go. Life and the gremlin are demanding my immediate attention. Lol, I know better than to ignore the gremlin’s tells. That look on his face is telling me more chaos is afoot.

*An approximation of the look on the gremlin’s face right now.*

Until next time, Take Care and Happy Writing! 😀

Odd … a number of the people in the background of photos don’t look particularly happy. Then again, it may just be exhaustion.

I’m glad to hear you had a good time.

I’m still fairly sure those kinds of events aren’t for me even if I were trying to promote a book, but I understand the necessity of them.

I hope all else is great, and to hear more good news about your efforts.
